Interpreters work in pairs in a sound-proofed booth and relay the message into a microphone in real time, which attendees can listen to by selecting the relevant channel on their receivers. This solution is certainly the most practical, as it enables the users to listen to the translation with no delays.
Remote simultaneous interpreting
MS Teams, Zoom and Webex are all equipped with built-in simultaneous interpreting features that allow participants to listen to the interpreter directly, but there are also specialist platforms with remote technical support before and during the event that offer a smoother experience.
